Vernon, NJ (October 30, 2009) – Mountain Creek is teaming up with Quick Chek in the new 2-part “Quick Chek Quick Path” contest. The contest targets both beginners and advanced skiers and snowboarders.

The “Quick Chek Quick Path” contest stemmed from an existing learn-to ski/snowboard promotion between Mountain Creek and Quick Chek. Learn-to coupons will be available to customers in 120 Quick Chek locations – redeemable at Mountain Creek for a discounted learn-to ski/snowboard package.

Mountain Creek is leveraging its social media presence – Twitter is the contest’s primary tool. Both beginner and experienced skiers and snowboarders are encouraged to hop on the “tweeting” bandwagon to participate in the contest.

The “Quick Chek Quick Path’s” prizes are most notable. One lucky beginner will have an unforgettable learn-to ski/snowboard experience with a 2 night stay in Mountain Creek’s Appalachian Hotel plus 2 days of rentals and lift tickets for up to four people.

Experienced skiers & snowboarders will also have a chance to win. Depending on user preference, one person will come away with a brand new set of Head skis or a new Burton snowboard of their choice under $500.

The learn-to coupons will be in Quick Chek stores starting November 2nd. The contest and promotion runs through December 24th, 2009. The two winners will be drawn in January.
